Electrical Supervisor

HAYS are recruiting on behalf of a reputable electrical contractor based in Southampton, specialising in the installation of EV charging hubs.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to manage and supervise the installation of EV charging hubs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and supervisory experience, with a focus on EV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of EV charging hubs.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, preferably with experience in EV charging hub installations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid electrical certification and relevant qualifications.
• SSSTS preferred
