The Construction Project Manager Role

The successful Construction Project Manager will be entrusted with a diverse array of responsibilities, focusing on high-end development projects within the Commercial Offices, Retail, and Industrial sectors. These projects often boast impressive valuations of up to £40 million. This pivotal role requires a Construction Project Manager who is adept at navigating complex project landscapes and delivering top-tier results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing multiple premium development projects across various sectors, with project valuations up to £40 million.
  • Effective project planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Strategic budget management and financial oversight of development projects.
  • Selecting and coordinating with contractors to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Implementing robust quality control measures throughout project lifecycles.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction solutions, meeting and exceeding client expectations.

The Construction Project Manager

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management or Building Surveying.
  • Preferably accredited with MRICS or MAPM.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a consultancy environment.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Proven experience in managing Commercial Projects, showcasing your expertise and skill set.
