Our client is a well-established and highly respected shopfitting company that specialises in delivering exceptional retail and commercial interiors. They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing high-profile projects from concept to completion.
As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including procurement, surveying, project management, labour allocation, and job costing. You'll be a key figure in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
**Essential Experience - Fitout/Shopfitting
Package:
- Up to £65,000 PA

Contracts Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality materials to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct site surveys to gather precise measurements and project requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and designers to finalise specifications and resolve discrepancies.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of shopfitting projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress, addressing any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
- Allocate resources efficiently, managing internal teams and subcontractors.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of site staff.
- Conduct site visits to monitor work quality and provide guidance.
- Prepare detailed budgets and cost forecasts for each project.
- Monitor expenditure and maintain cost control measures.
- Provide post-project cost analysis to inform future planning.
Contracts Manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the shopfitting, construction, or interiors sector.
- Strong background in procurement, surveying, and project management.
- Exceptional organisation and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, health and safety regulations.
