Since securing a number of key food retail and general interior fit-out projects throughout 2024 and throughout 2025, my client has decided to take on an Assistant Contracts Manager to help grow the team organically.

With an excellent reputation for stability, growth and staff retention, they are looking for a key individual (Assistant Contracts Manager) who wants to make a name within this fast-track arena.

The role will involve working / shadowing a Contracts Manager, carrying out various tasks including coordinating with various sites;

Assistant Contracts Manager duties;

- assuring materials on site

- Assistant Contracts Manager collating relevant Health and Safety files

- costing minor projects to a clients specification and basically working within the budget given on each individual project

- compiling project programmes and taking off materials from drawings

- progress sheets and some site visits

- Assistant Contracts Manager updating cost spreadsheets including profit margins

- maintenance and O+M manuals

- picking site materials from stock and assist occasionally in loading/unloading materials

After your probation period, you may well have the chance to begin running smaller projects to build a relationship with your own clients.

In return, as an Assistant Contracts Manager you will receive a competitive salary package coupled with training and the support of a friendly supportive team around you with truly an excellent staff retention.
