We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our clients team in Southampton on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and increasing customer retention levels, providing excellent customer service, and actively promoting membership benefits to current and prospective members.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Retain and renew customers through outbound telephone calls, ensuring members fully understand the benefits of membership.
  • Deliver supportive and tactful customer service, handling member complaints and enquiries with professionalism.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team targets across various timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate member details on the database and document all call outcomes.
  • Suggest new practices or modifications to existing ones to enhance sales performance.
  • Regularly report on retention figures to maintain accurate and current data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, upselling, or a related field is desirable.
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in customer service techniques and objection handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Competent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and experience with large membership databases.
  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including some weekends if required.
