Mayday Personnel is proud to be working with an established and friendly company based in Southampton, Hampshire which are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to assist with inbound calls from customers.

This position is temporary until Christmas, however if the workload allows there is a possibility the work could go beyond the Christmas period and potentially turn into a permanent position after 12 weeks!

You will be a hard-working and reliable Customer Service Advisor, with good attention to detail and ideally previous customer service or retail experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls from customers
  • Placing orders onto the system for the warehouse staff to pick/pack and dispatch
  • Responding to customer queries accordingly either via telephone, post, email or live chat
  • Processing refunds and replacements
  • Other general customer service and administrative duties as required

Key skills:

  • Previous customer service or retail experience within the last 6 months would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated and good time keeping skills
  • Computer literate
  • A good work ethic and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail

Working hours:

There are 3 shift patterns available which are: -

  • Shift 1: Monday 08:30-17:00 / Tuesday 08:30-16:30 / Wednesday 08:30-16:30 / Thursday (day off) / Friday 08:30-16:30 / Saturday 09:00-16:00 / Sunday (day off)
  • Shift 2: Monday 09:15-17:45 / Tuesday 09:45-17:45 / Wednesday (day off) / Thursday 09:45-17:45 / Friday 09:45-17:45 / Saturday 09:00-16:00 / Sunday (day off)
  • Shift 3: Monday 09:00-17:00 / Tuesday 09:00-17:00 / Wednesday 09:00-17:30 / Thursday (day off) / Friday 09:00-17:00 / Saturday 09:00-16:00 / Sunday (day off)
