Job Title: Senior Service Advisor

Location: Southampton

Salary: £32,000 (OTE £45,000+)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm (1 in Saturday mornings)

We are recruiting for an experience Service Advisor in the Southampton area. Our client is a privately owned, multi-award-winning dealer group who have been operating In the Southampton area for more than 30 years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with a friendly personality to join this busy aftersales team. You will ideally have 2 years of previous motor trade experience within the Aftersales department.

Responsibilities of Service Advisor:

  • Being the point of contact for customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles.
  • Manage the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the business and the customer.
  • To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently. Qualify service needs and establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
  • Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.
  • Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles. Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
  • Working directly with the workshop controller and parts manager
  • Reporting directly to the aftersales manager

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous motor trade experience
  • Experience using Pinnacle or other dealer management systems (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
