Data Analyst - £45,000

I am working with a successful and growing organisation within the retail industry who are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. Data is at the heart of the success of this business, and they are looking for someone to join them to revolutionise report and insight creation.

You will join at a time where the organisation have created a brand new data warehouse to hold its data and are now looking to automate, standardise and improve reporting for multiple stakeholders across different departments. You will work on a number of exciting projects aimed at implementing new software that will aid in the organisations data journey.

You will work as part of a close-knit and collaborative team of analysts and together you will work to meet the overall data goals of the business. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package which includes generous holiday allowance, a contributory pensions scheme and training programs alongside other benefits.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

  • Create informative reports and dashboards in line with stakeholder requirements
  • Extract and manipulate data from the organisations new data warehouse
  • Work collaboratively on variety of different projects and provide support to junior members of the team
  • Provide insights to stakeholders that will enable them to make data driven decisions

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Previous experience working in a data analytics position
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with Google Analytics or Google BigQuery
