We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher Teacher to join a mixed SEN School in Hampshire, where both pupils and staff can grow. This supportive and inclusive school caters for pupils aged 7-16 whose needs can no longer be met in a mainstream provision. An Ofsted Outstanding rated school (Nov 2022), it prioritises making a positive, lifelong difference to the lives of their pupils through holistic growth.Â
An experienced Teacher, you will ideally have prior leadership experience and a passion for supporting whole-school improvement. You will join a committed team of fellow skilled teachers, therapists, and professionals who work together to ensure each child is empowered to learn through a programme tailored to their specific needs. Responsible for leading, managing and developing staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the school. You will enjoy creating a stimulating environment that engages pupils, whilst ensuring the highest standards of teaching , learning and pastoral care. You will need to have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire, with excellent organisational and presentation skills. You will also ideally have SEN experience, although this is not essential.
This full-time Assistant Headteacher role is to start in September.Skills and requirements:
- QTS
- The right to work in the UK
- A DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
- Honours DegreeÂ
- Solid background in teaching and leadership
- SEN experience (ideal but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of curriculum frameworks and educational standards
- Available to start as soon as possible.
