We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team in Totton, Southampton.

ROLE: Electrical CAD Technician
LOCATION: Totton, Southampton
DURATION: Permanent
SALARY: Negotiable

Job Summary:
Produce 2D electrical schematic drawings in line with project specifications and company standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
Review and update drawings regularly to ensure they remain accurate and up to date.
Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
Understand project timelines and deliver drawings within required deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Experience in using 2D CAD software, with a preference for AutoCAD experience.
Ideally, qualified to HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline, or have a strong background in AutoCAD.
Experience in producing electrical schematic drawings.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with engineering design tools.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
