Lifting Equipment Engineer - South east

Are you a skilled and versatile engineer ready to tackle challenging projects and make a real impact? We're looking for a driven individual to join our team and ensure the reliable operation of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.In this role, you will:

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, conduct preventative maintenance, and perform testing and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
  • Support the installation of lifting equipment for a diverse customer base across the South East region.
  • Utilize your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to deliver the highest quality maintenance and service.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of three-phase control systems, ensuring you can effectively diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
  • Experience working with medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes, ensuring you can maintain and repair these critical components.
  • A strong understanding of PLCs and inverter control systems is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driving license, a willingness to travel (25% travel required) may require occasional overnight stay
