My client has an immediate requirement for an Industrial Electrician to join their site in Southampton
The position is on days Mon-Fri and is initially for 6 months with a review after this period
Umbrella rate of £32-£36hr
Applicants must have a proven work history in heavy plant equipment ideally cranesÂ
Prerequisites:
Industrial Technician / Electrician: Expected to work as part of a pair on plant and LV installations across the port estate.
• Any experience in maintenance works & PPMs
• NVQ level 3 in a form electrical discipline
• Test and inspect (2394&2395 certification) would be desirable but not a deal breaker
• Experience in fire alarm systems
• Experience in PLCs and working through 24V bus and control systems
• Able to read schematic drawings and fault find on control/bus systems
• Able to work in a team with others
• Experience working on large assets with super structures (PBBs/ cranes)
• Understanding of emergency lighting systems (central battery)
