I am excited to be working on a fantastic opportunity for anhybrid Senior/Principal Analog IC Design Engineerin Southampton to join a team that specialises in designing and manufacturing world-class infrared imaging products.

These innovative products are utilised in applications such as remote sensing, thermal imaging, and border surveillance, making this role critical to advancing technology in these fields.

This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work at the transistor, cell, or block level, where you will translate design requirements into verified solutions. It is an ideal opportunity for engineers eager to tackle real challenges and develop essential components that sit at the heart of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mixed-signal ICs.
  • Conduct rigorous design verification and capture evidence.
  • Adhere to design processes to ensure accuracy and successful project outcomes.
  • Validate designs from manufactured samples and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Skills and Experience:

The new Senior/Principal IC Design Engineerwill have:
  • Proven experience in IC Design, preferably with CMOS Readout ICs or imaging devices.
  • Strong Analog/Mixed-Signal or Digital IC design skills.
  • Experience in designing block-level components from scratch.
  • Proficiency with Cadence IC design tools.
  • A background in leading small projects or teams.
  • Familiarity with the full ROIC design flow, from block to chip level.
