Our client, an international maritime organisation is seeking a Senior Manager of Security Architecture and Engineering. This role is focused on securing the continuous upgrade of their cloud infrastructure amongst other duties.
This role is part of the Global Information Security & Compliance Services (GISCS) team, supporting the Technology department to ensure security risks are identified, managed, and reported within the appropriate governance forums.
Experience in Cloud Security (AWS) and DevSecOps are required within this role as it plays a large part of the project work that will be undertaken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of information security assurance subject matter experts.
- Engage across technology projects to ensure security risks are managed.
- Work with the Solution Architecture team to assess and approve new technologies.
- Chair the Security Assurance Working Group.
- Ensure 'Security by Design' in solution architectures.
- Provide guidance on security controls and develop organisational strategies for information security.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in information governance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of IT and information security best practices and principles.
- Knowledge of key security frameworks such as NIST, ISO27000, ISO22301, and COBIT.
- Proven experience working in a large enterprise or international organisation.
- Line management and people management skills, particularly with geographically dispersed teams.
