Talent Acquisition Specialist (FTC) - Southampton - £TBCJGA are seeking a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist. Working on a hybrid basis, this is a 12-14 month Fixed-Term Contract based in Southampton, with regular travel to our sites in the South.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have both agency and in-house recruitment experience to thrive in our fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: A background in corporate recruitment, manufacturing, engineering, or construction is highly desirable.
  • Attitude: Bring energy, confidence, and a proactive approach to a busy and fast-paced workload.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong, credible relationships with HR, business leaders, hiring managers, and external partners, acting as a trusted advisor and recruitment expert.
  • Develop and implement hiring strategies that align with business needs.
  • Create compelling job descriptions to attract top talent.
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates using social media, recruitment campaigns, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, skills testing, compliance, and offers.
  • Negotiate terms with external recruitment agencies and sourcing suppliers.
What You Will Bring
  • Extensive end-to-end recruitment experience in high-volume, fast-paced corporate settings.
  • Background in the logistics industry is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment technologies, ATS, and assessment tools.
  • Exceptional ability to source, attract, assess, and secure top talent.
  • Capacity to handle high vacancy numbers without compromising on quality or timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
