Mayday Personnel is pleased to be working with an established company based on the outskirts of Totton, Hampshire. Our client is looking to recruit a Trainee Production Assistant to join their small friendly accredited team.
The Trainee Production Assistant role would suit someone who has an interest in Graphics and is looking to work for an employer that could provide career progression opportunities for the right person.
Experience is not required as full training will be provided.
Duties:
- Assisting with the manufacturing process of large prints and vinyl graphics for vehicles
- Taping up and using small tools to weed out parts of vinyl to create the finished product
- Working closely with other members of the team and departments to ensure all protocols and processes are followed accordingly
- Quality checking finished products and raising any issues to the management team
- Loading / unloading vinyl from the printing area upstairs to the dispatch area downstairs when required
- Managing inventory levels and liaising with the team to ensure materials are well stocked at all times
- Compacting rubbish down ready to be placed into the relevant bins
Skills:
- High attention to detail
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to carry out some manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)
Salary:
- £23,000 to £24,000 per year
