With offices in Southampton, Dartford, and Exeter, they continue to grow due to the high demand for their expertise.The Protection Broker RoleAs a Protection Broker, you will be responsible for advising clients on life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection. You’ll engage with existing clients referred from the mortgage department, as well as contact clients who currently don’t have protection in place, offering tailored advice based on their personal circumstances.Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert protection advice to existing mortgage clients
- Contacting clients who need protection but haven’t yet secured a policy
- Offering tailored and consultative advice on life insurance, critical illness, and income protection
- Ensuring clients receive the best possible solutions that meet their individual needs
The Protection Broker Package
- Office-based role in Southampton
- Basic salary of £24k
- 10% commission on all protection policies sold
- Leads provided from mortgage referrals
- 25 days of holiday per year

Protection Broker Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Protection Broker or Adviser
- Proven ability to provide exceptional advice on life insurance, critical illness, and income protection
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve success
- Professional, charismatic, and able to build strong client relationships
- A strong work ethic and passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for clients
