Finance Manager

Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for finance and a knack for business partnering? If so, we’re interested in hearing from you. We’re seeing to recruit a Finance Manager for a manufacturing business where you'll play a pivotal role in optimising processes, managing financial reports, and driving impactful improvements across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

As Finance Manager, your role will encompass diverse and critical financial tasks, including:

  • Weekly: Reviewing productive/unproductive hours by department through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Monthly:
    • Managing balance sheet reconciliations (fixed assets, leases, inventory, prepayments, and accruals).
    • Preparing management accounts and reconciling P&L statements.
    • Ensuring seamless intercompany reconciliations and submissions to Group.
    • Overseeing inventory reviews, payroll reconciliation, and global production reporting.
  • Quarterly: Completing risk reports and VAT reconciliation/claims for several entities.
  • Annually: Supporting budgeting processes, year-end audits, financial statement disclosures, and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Ongoing: Business partnering with key stakeholders in supply chain, production, and warehouse, focusing on process improvements and inventory management.

What We’re Looking For:

We're searching for someone with:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher and preferably accounting/controlling certification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA – Qualified or later stages or QBE equivalent).
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in a management accounting, controlling or analyst role, ideally within a larger corporate environment.
  • Ideally experienced gained in a manufacturing business or similar with strong Excel and advanced analytic tools (Excel, BI or similar).
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and drive continuous improvement.
