Take the Lead in Strategic Asset Management

Are you an experienced Corporate Asset Manager looking for your next interim challenge? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead strategic asset management initiatives, drive income generation, and improve operational efficiency across a diverse corporate estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the strategic management of corporate and operational assets, supporting the Corporate Landlord role.
  • Oversee the resolution of over 200+ cases in the Valuation and Estates team, engaging external consultants where necessary.
  • Maximise income from corporate assets through efficient rent reviews and lease management practices.
  • Assist with the procurement and management of key corporate asset contracts, including cleaning, security, and utilities.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management to deliver operational efficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.
  • rive improvements in building inspections and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the corporate estate, ensuring regular, effective monitoring and reporting.
  • Liaise with senior leadership and key stakeholders across Housing, Resident Services, Finance, and Growth & Prosperity teams.
  • Support recruitment efforts to fill key asset management vacancies, reducing reliance on interim personnel.
  • Provide regular briefings to senior management and elected members, ensuring clear communication of asset performance and project progress.
Who We're Looking For:

?? Proven experience in corporate asset management across commercial and operational portfolios.?? Strong knowledge of procurement processes and managing asset-related contracts.?? Demonstrated ability to drive income generation initiatives and improve asset performance.?? Exceptional skills in managing stakeholder relationships and influencing at a senior level.?? Experience with building inspections, compliance management, and risk assessment.?? Strong data management skills, including experience with asset management software (e.g., Technology Forge).?? Chartered Membership of RICS or equivalent professional body (desirable).
