Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily vehicle checks according to company procedures to ensure roadworthiness.
- Report vehicle defects promptly in line with company procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Report any customer complaints to the Transport team.
- Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Secure freight for transit and ensure vehicles are not overloaded.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).
- Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
