Forklift Driver - Southampton

About The Role

Are you an experienced Forklift Truck Driver looking for something different? In this role, you’ll join our Accommodation Specialist team, which focuses on the rental of temporary building systems to meet diverse needs. This includes anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and everything else our customers require for construction sites and events.

As a Forklift Truck Driver, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. Your responsibilities will include safely moving equipment to ensure it is stored correctly and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

  • Safely driving a 12-tonne forklift truck and moving a variety of equipment
  • Organising and preparing equipment for hire
  • Checking and storing off-hired equipment
  • Helping to maintain a clean and safe yard, workshop, and storage areas
  • Liaising with customers as necessary when loading and unloading jobs
