Astute are currently seeking a qualified Forklift Operative to assist with an outage on a power station in Marchwood, Southampton. This role is working mix of 8 and 12 hour days from 2nd January through to 24th January.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Move inventory and materials across facilities
- Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Stack and organise large bulk items
- Accept deliveries and unload from trucks using forklift
- Wear safety gear and PPE at all times
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from site
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Computer Literate
- CSCS Card
