Administrator - 27,000-29,000 Full time hours - On site Monday to Friday - Hedge End - outskirts

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with a well-established and thriving local family-owned business that is currently seeking an administrator to provide essential support to their Directors. This role entails a diverse range of responsibilities within a process-oriented and regulated environment.
As an administrator, you will be a crucial member of a small, dedicated team, making significant contributions to the business's success. To excel in this position, you must adopt a proactive approach, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all tasks.

The Administrator duties include:

  • Responding to emails and handling incoming calls from clients and contractors and dealing with any queries
  • Processing job sheets on a daily basis from the contractors onto the database
  • Scanning documents onto the system and setting up new client information
  • Checking inspection notes from work carried out and flagging up any issues
  • Uploading invoices onto Sage and liaising with clients regarding any queries
  • A small amount of credit control to support with chasing outstanding payments or queries on accounts
  • Producing reports on Excel and highlighting any discrepancies
  • Managing the holiday rota for contractors
  • Ensuring health and safety documentation is complete and filed away, and managing the compliance for audit purposes
  • Booking in transport for servicing

Key skills and experience

  • Ideally Sage Line 50 and strong MS Office skills
  • Previous experience within an administration based role
  • Strong team player
