- Clean, sweep, mop, and sanitise designated areas.
- Maintain communal areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Use powered cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and report any concerns.
- Assist with the maintenance and management of council properties.
- Report urgent repairs and fire safety hazards.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and colleagues.
- Work with a team to ensure high cleaning standards are maintained.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations (training provided if necessary).
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to undertake cleaning duties.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodiversity is beneficial.
- Basic IT literacy for reporting purposes.
- Ability to travel across different locations if required
- Full UK Driving License required
- DBS Check Required – This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
