Role Overview:

As a Fibre Build Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing fibre network build activities in Southampton and Winchester. You will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, meeting all operational, quality, and safety requirements. This is a mobile role, so being comfortable with travel and fieldwork is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage fibre network builds, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with Openreach standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure health, safety, and quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

  • Conduct audits and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, including NRSWA regulations.

  • Oversee all aspects of fibre installation, including spine, distribution, and CBT connections.

  • Problem-solve technical challenges to maintain efficiency and effectiveness on-site.

  • Proven experience in fibre network construction, particularly with Openreach projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fibre networks from spine to CBT.
  • Strong understanding of NRSWA and street works requirements.

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
