One of Hampshire's leading schools is searching for a Head of IT to lead the team in supporting modern IT infrastructure to over 1500 users.
The Head of IT will work to define and deliver the IT strategy across 3 sites. You will lead a well-resourced IT Support team consisting of 2 Network Managers, 3 Technicians and an IT Administrator and Cloud Technician.
You will have hands on technical experience and will lead and manage a team to ensure effective, efficient and professional service delivery. You will have a strong technical IT background with experience of managing an IT Helpdesk, server and network infrastructure, cybersecurity and cloud services
Core responsibilities
- Deliver an effective digital strategy
- Effectively manage the IT Systems - networking, cybersecurity and cloud services, to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Support effective future proof planning of networks and maintenance schedules for the networking components.
- Manage the IT infrastructure
Key Skills and Experience:
- Office 365 Administration, Azure AD, Intune.
- Experience of crafting and running and Powershell scripts.
- Windows Server (possibly SCCM, DPM, SCEP).
- Network Security including firewalls, VPNs and anti-virus software.
- Excellent all-round knowledge of Networks
- Experience of managing a team
Salary for this role is up to £65,000 + benefits including free lunch, Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan, generous contributory pension scheme, 31 days' annual leave rising to 36 days with service, continuous professional development and onsite gym.
