We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Import Clerk to join this medium sized freight forwarder in Southampton area
Monday to Friday 9-5.30, Salary c£35k+
Ideal candidate will be confident in the start to finish operation
Role involves
Communication with customers - via email and phone.
Excellent customer services
Execute the shipments at the agreed cost and report any deviations.
Communicate with origin office to set up shipment and monitor them.
Provide quotes
Custom Clearance
Bill VAT/Duty
Add all costs to the files
Billing
Dealing with invoice queries.
Experience
3 years + experience within an Air Import department
Proactive
To be able to work alone and as part of a team and demonstrate initiative
Ability to work under pressure
Flexible attitude
