We are thrilled to be partnering with Mountbatten Group, who are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Individual Giving Manager (Supporter Lead) to join their dedicated fundraising team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Mountbatten is a renowned hospice charity, delivering exceptional care and unwavering support to individuals and families across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. With a compassionate ethos at its core, Mountbatten is known for its close-knit and supportive team, where kindness, expertise, and a deep commitment to the community are central to every aspect of their work.

This is a remarkable opportunity to make a tangible impact. Leading and inspiring a small team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising to create and execute innovative fundraising strategies, while expanding key income streams, including regular giving, appeals, the charity's weekly lottery, and gifts in wills.

The ideal candidate will possess:• A proven track record of success in individual giving fundraising, encompassing legacies, regular giving, lottery schemes, and in memoriam donations.• Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on kindness and responsiveness in all interactions.• Creativity and a strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and implement successful fundraising campaigns tailored to diverse audiences via newsletters, social media, website, and supporter collateral.• Confidence in handling financial data, with strong numerical acumen and the ability to analyse and report on complex information.• A solid understanding of individual giving fundraising legislation, regulatory codes of practice, and other relevant laws and guidelines.• Proficiency in Raiser's Edge database, with demonstrable experience in data extraction and analysis.

A persuasive people-person, you will be adept at building, managing, and nurturing relationships with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and possess a flexible approach to working within a dynamic and caring team environment.

Please note: due the nature of the role it may be necessary to work unsocial hours to fulfil this role e.g. attend weekend shows, evening meetings and events. A full UK Driving Licence and use of a car is essential. This is an office-based role, with one day a month on the Isle of Wight. This post is also subject to DBS clearance.
