15.00 - 16.00 per hour
Southampton Outskirts (parking available on site, also close transport links)
Temporary to permanent
37.5 hours per week (Days - Monday to Friday), plus the opportunity to work overtime at time and a half! Core hours: 07:30 - 17:00, flexi time available
Once permanent, benefits include 25 days holiday, plus Bank holidays
Due to expansion, we are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client in their busy engineering department. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a well-established family run business with very low staff turnover.
The role;
* Involves using manual lathes, mills and grinding machines to manufacture specialist tools, tool holders, and cutting tool inserts to suit exact client requirements.
* In order to be successful in this role, you will need experience in all of the above mentioned areas
Please note: Our client is not looking for a CNC setter, operator or programmer.
** This role would suit an individual who would like a permanent contract, the opportunity to settle and be part of a team**
