The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position and a valid MOT Tester certification.
Responsibilities include conducting MOT tests, diagnosing faults, and communicating results to customers.
The salary for this full-time, permanent position is up to £38,000 depending on experience.
Additional benefits include a bonus package, pension scheme, and 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented mechanic with a commitment to safety and exceptional customer service.Our client deliver a range of automotive services from basic maintenance to complex repairs and have an outstanding reputation for quality & value. This is a full time, permanent position.MOT Tester Responsibilities:- Conduct MOT tests to VOSA standards- Diagnose faults and recommend necessary repairs.- Communicate test results and repair recommendations clearly to customers- Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and emissions regulations and are roadworthy- Accurately document services performed, parts used, and customer queries- Support the wider team where requiredMOT Tester Requirements:- Experience within a similar position- Valid MOT Tester certification- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamMOT Tester Package:- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm- No weekend work- Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience- Bonus package & pension scheme- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays- Uniform, PPE, tools & insurance provided- Access to health & wellbeing platforms- Excellent career progression & training opportunitiesIf you are interested in this position and have the necessary skillset, please apply with an up to date CV, or reach out to Lily at Pertemps
