Role Description:

They are seeking five enthusiastic Senior Early Years Educators to join our passionate team. If you want to support the important role in educating and impacting the next generation, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
    • Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
    • Over 2 years’ experience of working in Early Years
    • Must respect the faith
  • Desirable:
    • Leadership experience
    • Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding
    • Familiarity with creating and implementing innovative educational programs
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
    • Knowledge of child development theories and practices

Duties:

  • Ensure EYFS requirements are met throughout the nursery
  • Plan age-appropriate activities to provide stimulating and purposeful experiences
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding child development
  • Maintain a creative and stimulating environment
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors
  • Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency
  • Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and new challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Lead and support the team in delivering high-quality early years education
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure best practices
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children, staff, and families
