As a Training & Competency Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued development, performance, and regulatory compliance of a growing adviser population. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the T&C scheme across the business
  • Monitor adviser performance and competence, supporting with coaching and development
  • Conduct observations, file reviews, and manage risk-based T&C activities
  • Provide guidance to advisers and managers on regulatory expectations and professional development
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and senior stakeholders to maintain a culture of excellence and accountability

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a T&C role within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory frameworks and advice processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, supportive, and pragmatic approach to managing competence and development
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential
