Machine Operative

Ready for a dynamic role in the Waste Water industry with the chance to earn up to £41,000 per year (including night shift and overtime)? We’re seeking Operations Technicians to work across multiple sites, primarily in the South West of England.

As an Operations Technician, you'll operate and maintain mobile separation equipment. No prior experience is required—comprehensive training and career progression are provided.

Machine Operative Requirements:

  • Interest in mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently after training.
  • Flexible to meet customer needs and project demands.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home for up to 10 days.
  • Adaptability to varying shift schedules, including nights.
  • Valid manual driving licence (ideally clean).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, and maintain Mobile Separation Equipment.
  • Adjust machine settings for optimal outcomes.
  • Assist Service Engineers on-site or in the workshop.
  • Post-training, collaborate with sales teams and lead customer visits.
  • Train subcontractors and new team members.
  • Follow all Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
