This is an opportunity for a maintenance Programme Coordinator to work with our client who own and operate the UK's largest integrated petrochemical complex.

As a Programme Coordinator you will coordinate the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance programmes which includes safety valves, exchangers and steam. The successful candidate should have trade / craft qualifications e.g. mechanical, piping, metal trades along with extensive field experience and an aptitude for planning with the ability to optimise maintenance work and break it down into detailed logical steps. You must have demonstrable experience of working on a petrochemical site with an understanding of refinery equipment and operations.

The Programme Coordinator role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate between maintenance and operations business areas to develop integrated maintenance plans.
  • Scope all work for safe, efficient and reliable execution in conjunction with Job Leaders and Planners / Schedulers.
  • Create job packs detailing step by step process.
  • Create detailed plans in SAP and using Excel.
  • Identify material needs, create BOMs (bills of materials) where required to ensure materials are ordered from stores, and order all non-stock items from approved vendors.
  • Ensure mechanical readiness of all jobs, e.g. scaffold access, insulation, crane availability and Contractor resource.
  • Develop complex plans for higher risk work, e.g. safe job plans and confined space entry plans etc.
  • Produce accurate cost estimates as required
  • Daily field presence to assist Job Leader in the supervision and execution of work.

Candidates must be computer literate with working knowledge of SAP or other preventative maintenance systems and computerised planning systems.

This role is Inside IR35. The rates advertised are PAYE.
