Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Southampton

We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have experience working on different types of fire alarm systems, such as conventional, bi-wire and addressable systems, within commercial properties.

Key Details:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, including evening/night shifts
  • Salary: OTE £31,000 plus company van
  • Holidays: 31 days holiday allowance (including statutory bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance and upkeep of various fire alarm systems
  • Inspections of premises and performance of repairs as needed
  • Conduct PPM tasks and resolve any faults

Essential Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in the maintenance & service industry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Commitment to health & safety standards

Qualifications Required:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Relevant FA qualifications and FIA training

Personal Qualities:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work on your own initiative
