Full-Time Business and ICT Teacher – Secondary School 
Start Date: ASAP – Contract Until April 2025
Pay: £150 - £230 per day
Location: Southampton - close to Bitterne 
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Full-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Business and ICT Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Southampton, starting immediately on a long-term contract. This position will run at least until April 2025, with the possibility of extension.

The school is a well-established, mixed secondary school located near Bitterne, Southampton, with excellent transport links to surrounding areas including Eastleigh, Hedge End, Portsmouth, and Winchester. Job Description:
As a Business and ICT Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to excel in the fields of business and technology. You will play a key role in equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need for the modern business world, whether through teaching business principles, ICT skills, or how these subjects interconnect. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Business and ICT lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for students of all abilities.

  • Encourage the application of knowledge to real-world scenarios, ensuring students understand the relevance of the subjects to their future careers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Business, ICT, or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Business and ICT at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Business and ICT.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
