Vision for Education are working with an SEMH school based in Southampton who are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to start from September 2024. This is full time and likely to be a temp to perm role.

In this role you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and group setting. Due to the needs of the children, previous experience is essential to be considered.

The children at the school range between 5 – 16 years old and have highly challenging behaviour. If you have previously worked as a Behaviour Mentor, this would be an advantage.

Pay: £85 - £95 a day.

  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Professional and reliable
  • Experience working with SEMH children
  • Great with time management and assisting the class teacher with preparation
  • Calm, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Passionate about supporting children’s physical, social and emotional welfare
