Calling all Teaching assistants!

Anzuk are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our client schools in Southampton on a long term basis - This will be a full time role.

The school is friendly and welcoming and are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic TA who is passionate about supporting children to ensure the best possible outcomes!

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teaching staff, fostering a positive learning environment, and empowering students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring that individual educational goals are met.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution among students.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
