Salary:£12.00 per hour (£23,400 per year, pro rata) plus Benefits
Hours:Up to37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis

We are on the lookout for Female Support Workers who are calm, patient, and resilient. You will need tobe able to drive andhave a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
Furthermore, asSupport Workeryou will be responsible for:
  • Daily activitiessuch as personal care;laundry; meal preparation; medication and administration
  • Getting to know the person you will care for and help her to live the life she wants to live
  • Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the person you will care for
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the person you will take care of
  • Helping the lady you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims
  • Planning and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities
  • Ensuring the person you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality
  • British Sign Language trained to Level 1 or above
  • To work in accordance with SeeAbilitys values
We are looking for someone who can devote to 37.5 hours per week and are willing to work on a shift rota basis, coveringmornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Providing direct support when displaying behaviours to enable her to participate in a wide range of activities
  • Ensure good working practice including understanding and awareness of health and safety
  • To promote independence and develop skills whilst assisting with all tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences
  • To work positively with other agencies, carers, and other services to ensure person-centred care for the lady we support
  • Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans and function as a Key worker when required
  • To support our person to maintain a clean-living environment appropriate to meet her individual needs
  • To participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to everyone's needs
