Office and field based role - some opportunity for hybrid working

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our client in Southampton. This role involves managing and developing client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships through regular client visits across the region.
  • Handling enquiries, providing product/service recommendations, and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and reports to support client decision-making.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Proactively following up sales opportunities


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings (driving licence required).
  • Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
