This is a new Technical Manager role to join a bespoke, high quality housing developer near Southampton with responsibility for running 2 schemes for a total of c.100 units.

Our client is a distinguished residential developer with a track record of delivering high quality, bespoke designed developments within the South East of England. With strong financial backing they have continued to grow their pipeline in a steady fashion over the last couple of years and have a clear focus on opportunities for their South division based near Southampton.
Operating within a collaborative culture the Technical Manager plays a key role in the wider project team. In addition, you will have the support of the Technical Director as required but are largely able to work with independence in your role.
Description
As the Technical Manager you will have responsibility for 2 developments totalling around 100 units; both are bespoke designed with varying house types. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Technical design information coordination with consultant teams and suppliers
- Coordination of services as required including 3rd party liaison
- RFI management and working with build teams to generate solutions as required
- Oversight of compliance and statutory sign off as required
- Management of handover process
On future schemes the remit will include design team appointments and design team coordination.
Profile
A successful Technical Manager should have:
- A relevant design/technical background (Architecture, Engineering, Coordination training)
- Proven experience working on bespoke designed residential developments post-planning to handover
- A track record of coordinating with design teams, service providers, local authority contacts, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and evidence of the ability to work effectively with build teams
You must have the right to work in the UK and will be happy working from the office near Southampton with weekly site visits. There is no work from home on offer for this position.
