We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Manager to lead complex and transformative business/IT initiatives within a cutting-edge engineering company.

This is a unique opportunity to drive strategic projects that span ERP, CRM, IoT, Data Analytics, and other enterprise systems, enabling digital transformation at the heart of a forward-thinking organisation.

Working on a hybrid basis from Hampshire, you will be instrumental in redefining how this organisation leverages technology to innovate, optimise, and deliver value across its national operations. Key Responsibilities for Project Manager - Business/IT Transformation Projects:

Program Leadership & Execution:

  • Own and deliver end-to-end programs involving ERP, CRM, IoT, and data transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Define and manage project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders from both IT and business functions.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of diverse technologies to drive business outcomes and user satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary interface between senior executives, technical teams, and operational leaders to ensure buy-in and alignment.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business language for diverse audiences.

Strategic Innovation:

  • Drive innovative approaches to leveraging IoT, data analytics, and digital platforms to enhance engineering operations and decision-making processes.
  • Introduce modern best practices for project delivery, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies tailored to the project's needs.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project continuity and avoiding disruption.
  • Apply advanced problem-solving skills to overcome technical and organizational challenges.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their potential and contribute to the program's success.

Performance & Reporting:

  • Track, measure, and report on project progress against KPIs and deliverables to senior leadership.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.

Essential Skills & Experience for Project Manager:

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex IT and business transformation projects (e.g., ERP, CRM, IoT, data initiatives).
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional project management skills with certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) being a plus.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology platforms and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
