Information Security Analyst

VIQU have partnered with a prestigious law firm that is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join their Information Security & Protection team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analysing potential threats and vulnerabilities that could affect the firm's systems or data, as well as handling various security-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities of the Information Security Analyst:

  • Support the CISO with key activities related to the organisation's information security programme, including monitoring and reporting on emerging threats and trends.
  • Assist with the rollout of new security tools and projects, conducting security reviews to identify and address vulnerabilities and ensure a "security-first" approach.
  • Plan and perform security testing on key systems to confirm compliance with security requirements and manage security incidents from initial triage to resolution, working with Major Incident teams and the CISO as needed.
  • Stay up to date with security tools, attacker tactics, and incident response processes, using tools like endpoint analysis, SIEM, and DLP systems to identify and address security issues.
  • Oversee supplier engagements, such as penetration tests and security reviews, ensuring successful delivery, and support client and supplier assurance activities.
  • Work closely with the firm's 24/7 managed security services provider, incorporating threat intelligence into daily operations and improving security processes.

Key Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a technical Information Security role
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, with knowledge of security and data privacy principles and practices.
  • Possess excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are desirable.
