Job Title: IT Security Analyst
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working: Initially office-based, with hybrid options available after onboarding
Cooper Lomaz is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced IT Security Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team where you will play a key role in enhancing security operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
About the Role
As an IT Security Analyst, you will collaborate with the wider security team to support and improve the organisation's Security Management System. Your work will be crucial in strengthening security policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, and mitigating risks across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies and guidelines
- Support compliance with ISO 27001 and internal security frameworks
- Manage security assets and ensure their protection
- Conduct internal and external security audits, address findings, and drive improvements
- Monitor security logs, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective measures
- Play an active role in incident response and risk mitigation
- Oversee patch management and ensure minimal security risks
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT security role
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001 compliance and audits
- Proven experience in writing and maintaining IT security policies
- Hands-on experience managing an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
