Job Opportunity: IT Support Engineer

Location: Southampton, Hampshire (Office Based)

Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide essential 1st and 2nd line support across their business. You'll work with a mix of hardware, software, and systems, keeping things running smoothly and helping us deliver top-quality supply chain services across the UK and Europe.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Resolving IT issues quickly and efficiently, both on site and remotely, using a ticketing system to track progress.
  • Managing and troubleshooting hardware, PCs, printers, and scanners.
  • Administering Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Proactively monitoring systems to spot and resolve issues before they affect users.
  • Supporting key business tools like Blue Yonder, MintSoft, and Intersoft.
  • Working with external vendors and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Sharing knowledge and updating internal resources to help the team succeed.

What You'll Need

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience in IT support, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Service Desk or ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Confidence in hardware setup and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills-you can explain technical issues in plain language.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with warehouse or order management systems like Blue Yonder or MintSoft.
  • Knowledge of tools like Intune, Power BI, or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with AWS or cloud environments.
