Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking for a Stores Person to join their team on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse operations, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include managing inventory, conducting stock checks, and operating warehouse machinery while ensuring safety regulations are followed.
This position offers a pay rate of £13.71 per hour (PAYE) and is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse
Maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock levels
Ensuring the safe handling and storage of materials and products
Conducting regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Collaborating with other departments to fulfil orders and manage stock requirements
Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery as required
Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Job Requirements:

Experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in inventory management systems and software
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
Good communication and teamwork skills
A meticulous approach to work with a strong attention to detail
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
