Investment Portfolio Support Assistant - Award winning Investment Managers

Southampton | £depending on experience

A leading UK Private Client Investment Management Company who have won numerous industry awards for excellence are looking to recruit a highly competent individual. Working in their growing Investment Portfolio Support function you will be joining a highly professional team who pride themselves creating a positive working environment that is enjoyable and very personable.

The role will involve -

  • Provide Investment Management Portfolio Support to the Consultants.
  • Carry out internal cash and stock portfolio transfers. Complete payment transfers and process ISA subscriptions and amendments.
  • Take the lead to ensure all review packs are completed, have been checked for accuracy and are ready for client meetings.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with accountants, tax advisors and associated intermediaries. Ensure all valuation, tax and CGT queries have been answered
  • Update all teams including the portfolio, Investment Management and Client Management teams with transfer progress and client amendments.
  • Completing Client KYC data and account amendments
  • Assisting with meeting preparation, adviser reports and presentations
  • Deliver Projects on time to the highest standards
  • Take an active role in learning and understanding regulatory requirements and the company’s attitude and policy surrounding risk management
  • Be responsible for implementing administrative processes
  • Help the department achieve performance and budgetary targets
  • Develop your own skills and knowledge ensuring that you are achieving your own personal development goals
