Job Title: Landscape Garden Designer, Sales & Project Manager

Location: Curdridge, Southampton

Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 per annum

Job type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for candidates with sales experience who have a strong interest and passion for Gardening & Design. You would get to work within an experienced Design Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.

Key Duties:

Estimating, Design & Sales - To convert enquiry leads into live projects by:

• Understanding the client's requirements
• Providing clients with solutions for their gardens and presenting these ideas through detailed drawings or computer aided design
• Providing the clients with competitive quotes, whilst maintaining profit margin
• Selling our products and services
• Achieving sales budgets and profits

Project Management:

• Managing staff on site, overseeing workmanship
• Providing clear instructions
• Managing health & safety and risk assessments
• Following company procedures
• Liasing with clients, suppliers and colleagues

About you:

• Experience in sales and confidence in presenting ideas to clients
• Experience of working as a Designer and/or have a garden design qualification
• It is essential that you are computer literate and ideally have experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or Sketchup
• Horticulture knowledge and/or a qualification
• Must be based locally to SO32 2DA
• Good interpersonal skills
• Time management skills
