An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Southampton. Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer to take on a key role in their dynamic and growing commercial property team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse and complex caseload of commercial property matters, including sales, acquisitions, leases, and development projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Lead and manage significant commercial property transactions, providing strategic legal advice and guidance.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff, fostering their development and growth within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, contributing to the firm's business development and growth.
- Provide practical, commercial, and tailored legal advice to clients, ensuring the smooth progression of transactions.
Requirements:
- A qualified lawyer with at least 7 years' experience in commercial property law.
- Strong technical expertise and experience in handling a wide range of commercial property transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and provide strategic advice to clients.
- A client-focused approach with a proactive attitude toward business development.
- Strong team player with the ability to lead, mentor, and support junior lawyers.
