About the Role:A boutique and highly regarded employment law firm based in Southampton, is looking to recruit a 2+ PQE Employment Solicitor to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse caseload while working closely with an expert team known for delivering practical and tailored advice to individuals, businesses, and public sector organisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
  • Provide advice on key issues including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and employment contracts.
  • Prepare and represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear and effective communication.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and networking to support the firm's growth.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE in employment law.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and case law, with a pragmatic approach to client advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach with a focus on delivering exceptional client care.
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
  • Advocacy experience (desirable but not essential).
